As part of an improved traffic environment due to ore transports Kaunisvaara-Svappavaara, NYAB Infrastructure is building a new bypass in Vittangi for the Swedish Transport Administration. The project is one of the projects that the Swedish Transport Administration calls MaKS stages. The contract volume amounts to SEK 94 million.
The work consists of new mining and construction of a road, including a flat-frame bridge over Puolisjoki and a pipe bridge as well as electrical work. The work is intended to start immediately after the contract is written. The project is carried out as a construction contract.
A contract that is very suitable for us. We have had good teamwork during the calculation and submission of tenders led by our calculation manager Karl-Johan Västerö. A gratifying contract and a real challenge. We are tagged to manage the Swedish Transport Administration's trust and deliver a high-quality end product, says Anton Sandgren, responsible site manager for the project at NYAB Infrastructure.
