The project concerns the construction of a widened pedestrian and bicycle path and with modification of the road section to make room for a new public transport lane in a northern direction on road 226 between Huddinge gymnasium and the intersection Huddingevägen / Ågestavägen.
The contract form is an execution contract and the work will begin this autumn. The tender has been submitted and the project is being carried out by NYAB Mälardalen AB.
The project is called "For carrying out measures Road 226 Huddingevägen, unprotected road users".
NYAB started as a small Luleå company in 2013 and has had strong growth since its inception. In October 2019, Johan Skoog took over as CEO of the newly formed NYAB Mälardalen. NYAB Mälardalen opened the Group's first Stockholm office just before the turn of the year 2019/2020.
- A fun and challenging project, our first major project for the Swedish Transport Administration in the Stockholm area, and it is a challenge as well as satisfaction to carry out something that has a direct societal benefit and that affects many. This was a priority project and we have done a solid job in the calculation and tender submission phase, says Johan Skoog, CEO of NYAB Mälardalen.
- NYAB Mälardalen follows in the Group's footsteps and we follow our plan very well. We intend to have strong growth in infrastructure-related contracts and in construction, these are the Group's core operations and these are growing markets, says Johan Larsson, CEO of NYAB.
